Placeing warm, wet, but not dripping, tea bags on each eye is supposed to help dark circles.

darkness under the eyes can be caused from a lack of iron, so try taking iron pills.

for even skintone, try exfoliating with a natural exfoliator (i prefer st ives apricot scrub invigorating)

I am an esthetician and have found that vitamin K products work the best for dark circles. Vitamin K helps strengthen leaky capillaries (which may be the cause).Vit. K is also helpful to improve spider veins on the face and body. You also have to consider if your dark circles are related to hereditary conditions (are either of your parents prone to them?), and things like sinus problems. The pressure caused by sinus problems make dark circles worse. In Chinese medicine dark circles are related to the spleen. What this can mean is blood issues like anemia, or heavy menstrual bleeding are a sign that there is spleen weakness. An acupuncturist is best suited to resolve issues like this.
If you find that topical products don’t help, I’d check out any health issues related to blood. Also, certain racial groups are just prone to this problem such as people from India and the Middle East. If that’s the case it can be a very stubborn condition to resolve. Taking Ester C is also helpful to strengthen the capillary walls (and is a great antioxidant) and can help if you’re a person who bruises easily.
    Best of luck!

You say it runs in the family….hypothyroidism (low levels of thyroid hormone) can cause dark undereye circles. I would check with my doctor & make sure there is no underlying medical cause for them.
If all is OK, then skin treatments or creams containing Vitamin K can help. However, do NOT take any Vitamin K supplement internally without first checking with your doctor. It also affects blood clotting and people in your age group (me among them) have to be very careful about taking anything that raises the risk of blood clotting (like Vit. K). If you’ve noticed, a lot of vitamins for older adults contain very little to no vitamin K for this reason.

A great cosmetic temporary fix that I use is
    1. Use a moisturizer under the eyes, then use a cover stick (I use Cover girl, but any good brand will do) in a shade that matches your skin tone. Dot the cover stick heavily on the dark area, then use a scott tissue to blend, by dabbing towards the outer corners of your eyes. Works like a charm!

  5. I really appreciate your help, it is very useful for me,you will get good grades!
